(319) 629-4255Our Memory Care Unit was designed for individuals who require assistance due to memory-related conditions who do not require 24/7 nursing cares provided in a traditional nursing home setting. It offers a low-stimulating environment for the tenants who reside there.
The unit is nestled between The Villas and Care Center, attaching at both sides. Each door exiting the unit requires a code. If the door is opened without the code, it will sound an alarms in all three buildings within the facility. A staff member with dementia-specific training is on site 24/7 to ensure the safety of our tenants.
Each tenant has their own apartment which includes a kitchen*, living area, bedroom, generous closet space, and a private bathroom. Three meals are served each day in our dining room. The unit also has a living area where tenants are welcome to watch a movie, listen to music, or do a puzzle together.
Prior to admission, members of our interdisciplinary team will meet with you to discuss individualized care options which include, but are not limited to, hygenic, medical, and psycho-social needs.
*Stoves are turned off in units to ensure safety of our tenants.
Standard unit price per month: $4,900
Three meals are provided each day in dining room.
